Get Your Park ON!
2026 GYPO Announcement

Event Information
Get Your Park ON! (GYPO) events are sponsored annually by the U.S. affiliate (KFF) of Worldwide Flora and Fauna (WWFF) to encourage ham radio operators to Make Nature Your Shack and celebrate nature. These international events are open to all WWFF Activators and Hunters.
WWFF-KFF will, for the seventh year, be sponsoring the KFF Marathon Challenge in 2026. It is a yearlong activity wherein we will recognize the achievers who work, or activate, the most KFF References during the calendar year, is designed to promote WWFF activity worldwide and to recognize those that distinguish themselves by working, or activating, the most KFF References during year. The KFF Marathon Challenge wants to continuously draw attention to the importance of protecting nature, flora and fauna. And to encourage hams to Make Nature Your Shack. Each year there four events, three are weekend, Earth Science Weeks Runs for nine days in October. Information for each event can be seen by clicking on a button below.
KFF Facebook provides one of the best ways to become active in our community. This helps you keep up with the happenings where our members post news of their hunting and activating activities. And remember WWFF is a Worldwide organization, so DXing in an inherent part of both Hunting and Activating. Be sure to check out the WWFF webpage too.
Special Event Stations
The Get Your Park ON! events sponsor Special Event Stations (GYPO SES). These stations will be active from WWFF parks – possibly in North America, Europe, and Oceania – throughout the operating period. KFF SESs will operate with 1×1 callsigns, e.g., N5G. Hunters are encouraged to work as many of these Special Event Stations as possible and earn special recognition.
Would you like to volunteer to be a Special Event Station? Contact Marc K8MH or Norm N9MM. We are always looking to expand our group of enthusiastic activators during the GYPO events. Here is what a Dream SES looks like:
