Submit Log to WWFF

Only Activators need to upload their logs to WWFF. Hunters automatically receive credit from their QSOs based on the activator’s log. So, Hunters make sure the activator has copied your callsign correctly!

POTA Logs

Managers accept POTA formatted logs and make whatever changes are needed to comply with WWFF standards which are very similar to POTA’s. We want to make life simple for activators.

It’s helpful if you include the name of the park/reference in your email.

Log Upload Managers

Activators have their logs uploaded to WWFF Logsearch by e-mailing them to their Call Area Manager. The logs they upload are based on callsign call area of the activator, so, for instance, W5’s logs go to N9JF etc. The logs must be in ADIF format.

Logging

The ADIF standard file is generated by common logging programs, such as Fast Log Entry (FLE), Ham2K Portable Logger (POLO), N3FJP Amateur Contact LogHAMRS. Some general-purpose logging or contesting software may be used for basic logging but may not support additional fields recommended by WWFF.

However, logging on paper in common for many activators. It’s easy! The only downside is that the QSOs must later be uploaded into software capable of outputting ADIF.

ADIF Master does a great job of creating and editing ADIFs. Thats what the Log Upload Managers use.

Log File Format

Name your files in the form: {callsign} @ {reference} {date: yyyy/mm/dd}{extension} (example: NK8O@KFF-1234 20250115.adi)

ADIF Format

Amateur Data Interchange Format (ADIF) provides a standard interchange of logging data between programs. Most computer logging programs export this file format. This format is used by WWFF to load activator logs into Logsearch.
